App data

RemoteOrbit does not require an account and does not include advertising, tracking or third-party analytics. The developer does not automatically collect screen content, audio, clipboard text, device records or session logs from the app.

For Android ADB connections, screen, audio and control data travel directly between your Apple device and the Android device you connect to. For VNC connections, screen, control and text data travel directly between your Apple device and the VNC server you choose. These are processed for the current session, not sent to a developer-operated cloud service. Destination devices, servers and their software have their own privacy practices.

Saved device details and preferences are stored locally. Android ADB pairing credentials are stored in the device Keychain. VNC passwords are requested per session and are not saved with device records. Clipboard transfer occurs through explicit user actions. Screenshots are saved to Photos only when requested; your Photos library may be subject to your own iCloud settings.

Diagnostic logs remain local unless you choose to share them through the system share interface. Review logs before sharing. Your selected recipients and services handle shared information under their own policies.

Permissions and choices

Local Network permission enables discovery and communication with reachable Android devices and VNC servers. Add-to-Photos permission enables screenshot saving. Manage permissions in iOS Settings. Remove saved devices and reset the ADB identity in the app. Manage saved screenshots in Photos.

Legacy ADB TCP is unencrypted. VNC connection security depends on the server configuration. Use trusted networks or a secure network path and limit access to devices you trust.

Support and this website

If you email support, we receive your email address and information you voluntarily provide. We use it to answer and investigate your request. Do not send sensitive credentials or unnecessary private information. You can request deletion of support correspondence by emailing us.

This static website is hosted by GitHub Pages. It has no developer-added analytics, advertising scripts or tracking cookies. GitHub may process technical request information to operate hosting; see GitHub's privacy statement. Your email provider and selected sharing services apply their own policies.
